Hi my name is Carolyn and I started my Avon journey as a rep  in 2014. Up until September 2016 I had a full time job in Local Government, which I loved, but decided to resign from that to focus on what I love more - My Avon.

I live with my husband Mark in Wigan.

 

My Story:

I used Avon products regularly and wanted to earn some extra money to save for a house. My friend encouraged me to sign up as a rep so I would have a way to make some money but also get the products for myself cheaper! Which I loved the sound of…who wouldn’t?

Like all businesses it was slow at first as I was building my customer list but, with using Social Media and family and friends as my main customers, I was soon making more commission. 
In January 15 I became a Sales Leader to help promote Avon more and to further my business. This time I was saving to get married so the extra money was fab!
I quickly started to recruit new reps into my team and I was earning a good % commission on my team. I now had the bug to want to do and earn more....who wouldn’t? This was no longer about saving money for my wedding, but to build my business and my future.
I started to build my business further by recruiting more representatives and looking at my Avon business as to where I could make improvements/changes. Still working full time, I had to plan my Avon around this. I went to events with my area manager and even held my own.
Throughout 2015 I attended many events, both selling products and promoting my business. By September 2015 I had tripled the number of reps and leaders in my team and became one of the Elite Achievers coming in the top 100 Sales Leaders in the UK. This was a massive achievement and gave me the confidence I needed to do more and push myself further.
2016 saw the launch of My Avon Store allowing reps to sell online and customers to have more flexible ways to pay and get their items delivered to their homes!
We also now have the new Advanced Leadership fast start programme which is  giving new Sales Leaders a better chance to earn and build their own teams.

We have a group on Facebook with training videos and advice on how to start your Avon business. 

In January 2017 I came second in the country for my team sales/growth in 2016 versus 2015. WOW what an achievement!

I have also been recognised as a Champions Club achiever with the number of reps recruited into my team in the last quarter of 2016 and through 2017.

In January 2018 I achieved 15th place in the UK for my teams growth in sales out of all the sales leaders in the uk. I have been rewarded with an all expenses paid 5* break to Lisbon with my husband. This is such a fantastic achievement in just 2 years of Sales Leadership!

Well 2019 and 2020 just got better, with more achievements and awards! 2020 was the year that everything changed for everyone! For me, it all changed for the better as my Avon business grew in one month by 57% during a global pandemic! Since then i have featured in the Sun Newspaper and on Kay Burley at breakfast on Sky News! To say our team is winning is just an understatement but wow what achievements we have made.
